DevOps Projects

Open Medical Record System

Type: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System
Role: Integration, Configuration, and Deployment
Technologies: Java, MySQL, Tomcat, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Docker, Linux (Ubuntu Server)

Description:

OpenMRS is a modular, open-source platform for managing medical records, designed for healthcare organizations and clinics. I am actively working on further developing the platform, adding new features and integrations to better support healthcare professionals and patient care.

Deployment Process:

  • Utilizing Linux servers for production environments.

  • Installing the required software stack: Java, Tomcat, MySQL.

  • Configuring OpenMRS and modules based on the institution’s requirements.

  • Testing integrations and functionalities before production launch.

  • Optionally using Docker for streamlined deployment and containerized environment management.

Outcome:

A fully functional, reliable EMR system that improves clinic efficiency and patient data accessibility. Moving forward, the goal is to continuously enhance the platform with new features and integrations, aiming to further support healthcare professionals and improve patient care.

Panagyurishte Treasure

Type: Cultural & Educational Website
Role: Website Design, Development & Content Management
Platform: WordPress

Purpose:

I launched and manage Panagyurishte Treasure, a website and blog dedicated to the history and cultural heritage of the Panagyurishte Gold Treasure. The site offers detailed information, historical insights, and educational resources while also featuring blog articles about one of Bulgaria’s most significant discoveries.

Deployment Process:

  • Prepare Ubuntu server and install necessary software (PHP, MySQL, Apache).

  • Upload WordPress files and configure themes and plugins.

  • Set up SSL and domain using Cloudflare.

  • Check responsiveness, cross-browser functionality and optimize mobile version.

  • Deploy to production, monitor uptime and performance and provide ongoing support.

Avangard 2002 presents veterinary services. Their personalized website makes it easy for clients to get in touch. Designed to be clear, friendly, and professional, it helps the clinic connect with its community.

Urban Collective is a project I currently manage, focused on delivering high-quality embroidery designs, embroidered products and web and digital solutions.

Deployment Process:

  • Digitalizing embroidery files using Embird.

  • Creating designs with CorelDraw, Inkscape, and Photoshop.

  • Ensuring high-quality results across all products.

  • Delivering the final product efficiently and professionally.

  • Providing ongoing support with updates, maintenance and assistance for all software solutions.
